A further aspect of divine wrath is His indignation toward the manifold sin of mankind. The psalmist David writes, “God is a righteous judge, and a God who has indignation every day” (Ps. 7: 11). “Indignation” (Hebrew zaam) means “to be angrily indignant, to denounce.” This indignation fills God every day— not just on the last day— toward the wicked. It is poised and ready to be unleashed in this present day. - Steven Lawson
